Ratings changelog & corrections

We audited all 31 cost-per-outcome figures on this site against each organisation's own published claims and adopted a strict policy: a number appears only if the organisation itself publishes it. Notable corrections:

• World Food Programme USA: $0.06/ration → $0.80 per day of meals for a child (ShareTheMeal) — our figure had overstated impact ~13×.
• Feeding America: $0.02/meal → $0.10/meal, matching its published "$1 helps provide 10 meals."
• Deworm the World: $0.10 → ~$0.50 per treatment (Evidence Action's reported average).
• Sightsavers: a $0.50 "eye surgery" figure replaced with its published $0.23 trachoma treatment (cataract surgery is ~$41).
• Against Malaria Foundation: $5.50 → $2.00 per bednet (AMF's own figure) — we had been understating impact.
• 13 organisations (incl. MSF, UNICEF USA, Save the Children, World Central Kitchen) now show descriptive text instead of a number, because they publish no per-outcome figure.

Organisations under credible investigation or review now carry a visible advisory banner on their profile and a warning tag in the rankings. Advisories are set editorially and removed when resolved.

The directory grew from 43 to 80 organisations across 8 cause areas, each with a full profile, editorial assessment, and — where published — cost-per-outcome figures.
